Färgbygge Naturum CLT Finish | WH (White Shades)

It is a water-based surface treatment for indoor wood surfaces, specifically developed for application on untreated Cross Laminated Timber (CLT). The wood stain provides a hard surface and can be applied in multiple layers. CLT-Finish slows down yellowing to preserve the wood’s bright luster and prevents knot bleed-through.

Water, pigment (TiO₂)*, shellac, mineral filler, casein, ethanol, sunflower lecithin, cellulose, vegetable oils, natural resin, potassium sorbate**, IPBC**.

*Pigment TiO₂ is only present in Färgbygge CLT Finish WH and not in Färgbygge Wood Stain C-base.

**Ethanol is used in combination with potassium sorbate (E 202) to disinfect packaging and production equipment. The preservative IPBC (3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate) may be present in amounts less than <0.01%.

Preparation:
Ensure that the surface is dry, solid, and free from dirt and grease. When painting previously oiled/treated surfaces, there is a risk of discoloration and it may affect the product's adhesion.

Painting:
Stir well. Apply a thin, even coat and smooth immediately with a brush in the direction of the wood grain. Test the color and adhesion on a sample piece or a less visible area.

Care Instructions:
Be cautious with freshly painted surfaces. The product's final properties are achieved only after a few weeks and it is sensitive to water and wear. Matte surfaces are generally sensitive to glossing if rubbed. Clean the surface with a clean cloth dampened with lukewarm water.

Important:
The paint should not be used in damp areas. Seal the opened can tightly. The shelf life of opened cans is limited. Do not use paint that has an unusual smell or shows signs of mold. Scrape off tools before cleaning. Take liquid paint residues to the local recycling center. Well-emptied packaging should be taken to the recycling station.
